Hi! My name is Leslie Cooper. My “girl” Spinderella (a Majacraft Aura) and I spin art yarns. Drummond (the Louet Elite Drum Carder) helps with all the carding.
I love creating and I’ve always felt something was missing in my life until I found fiber! When I walked into a fiber festival in Dallas I WAS HOOKED! I left with a spinning wheel and never looked back! This was in April of 2009. I taught myself with books and YouTube videos and have since taken a couple of basic spinning workshops and three Pluckyfluff workshops (http://www.pluckyfluff.com/). My passion for this craft has only grown!
On March 3, 2011 my future changed again! I found out I won the Juniper Moon Farm Flock Giveaway! Susan Gibbs has graciously given me a small flock of Cormo sheep. On April 10th 2011 I brought them home. Their names are Dashwood (f), Wickham (f), Brandon (m) and Norris (m). Life is good!
